The main objective was to share experiences and knowledge among various stakeholders in order to implement effective strategies and solutions to address environmental challenges in the aviation sector.
The event saw the participation of various organizations, such as the Italian National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), Aeroporti di Milano (SEA SPA), Sofia Airport (SOF-CONNECT AD), Tirana Airport, SGS Italia Spa, and the SOLAR project partners, , including the Puglia Region – Department of Mobility, Airports of Montenegro and the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority. Representatives from these important organizations actively contributed to the discussions, sharing their experiences and presenting best practices for sustainable airport management.
During the workshop, several crucial topics were addressed, including CO2 emissions reduction, energy efficiency, waste management, and the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
