The Department of mobility of Apulia Region, in collaboration with the international partners, is organizing the Final Meeting of the Transnational Cooperation Project "SOLAR - Sustainable reduction Of carbon footprint Level in program AiRports", which will be held on 28th September 2023, at 10.30 am, in the Airport of BARI, Italy.
The project, led by Apulia Region - Department of Mobility (Italy), includes among its partners Airports of Puglia (Italy), Airports of Montenegro (Montenegro), Albanian Civil Aviation Authority (Albania), Sviluppo Italia Molise (Regional Development Agency of Molise Region) - Italy.
The final event will illustrate the main results achieved through the project, the critical issues that have emerged in the sector of carbon emissions linked to airport structures and the tools and deliverables made available by the partners to overcome the difficult challenges expected for the future.During the meeting, that includes a visit of the airport airside area and best practices sharing, several actors wil discuss about project legacy, paving the way to next potential activities related to carbon footprint and energy consumption.
